It is known around 10% of the population of
4 million people have Dyslexia,
I think this could be higher.
The thing to remember is if you find you as
an adult have a learning difficulty or you find your child has a
learning difficulty, it is not the end of the world.
There is help. but I think there could be
more afforded.
I published my first book of poems in
December 1999, and I am almost ready to publish my next.
I went around for years frustrated because
I spelled wrong and could never master the art of
driving.
The day I was assessed and told that I was
dyslexic ended for me many years of low self-esteem and saying to
myself that I was stupid.
